Taste of Dublin 2018 Recap

We attended Taste of Dublin – inspired by Neff - at the Iveagh Gardens on the 14th to 17th of June and this year’s theme was a Food Lover’s Playground, a vibrant and colourful twist in the Gardens. Taste of Dublin is four days of Dublin’s best restaurants and bars coming together to bring amazing signature dishes and cocktails to life. This year saw the Iveagh Gardens play host to a number of popular restaurants such as Jaipur, China Sichuan, Glover’s Alley and Nutbutter, as well as a wide array of bars like The Roe & Co Tram 21 and exhibitors, like ourselves! Our stand had it all from bakeware to barware from great brands such as Mason Cash, Microplane, Genware, Glencairn and much more.

Bakeware:

Our bakeware section included mixing bowls, mini preparation bowls, flour shakers and measuring cups from Mason Cash. The bowls were a popular hit and we had them in two stunning colours, cream and grey and powder blue with cream. We also had a great range of silicone moulds and muffin tins

Barware:

On the barware side, we had gin glasses, Glencairn whiskey glasses, wine glasses, cocktail shakers, bar blades and funky cups like the Pineapple cupcopper barrel mugs and Tiki Mugs. Our gin glasses proved popular this year and they really suited the theme of the event. We also had colourful paper straws, a great environmentally friendly alternative to plastic straws!

Kitchenware:

Our ramekins really brought out the colour in our stand and were a popular item with people buying them for a whole array of uses from serving condiments to even storing makeup! We also had a great selection of enamelware in this section with mugs, plates and bowls. We also had small cast iron pans here too, great for making the perfect egg!

Kitchen Accessories:

We had a good selection of kitchen utensils with Microplanes (the must have kitchen utensil!), Kilner jars in pink and blue, mini plastic jars, sauce bottles, milk bottles, bread tins, timers, tongs, gingham print napkins and bread tins. We also had teapots, cookie jars and coffee cups.
