Coffee 101

Have you ever walked in to a coffee shop, looked at the menu and just got confused? There are so many different types of coffees and a name for each one that sometimes it can just be overwhelming (let’s not even get in to Starbucks and their crazy naming system for the sizes of their cups!) We found the perfect picture to help explain what exactly IS the difference between a Latte and a Cappuccino (don't act like you knew..)

We even have a few interesting facts to broaden your coffee knowledge even further!

  • Did you know a single cup of coffee contains 11% of the daily recommended amount of Riboflavin (vitamin B2), 6% of Pantothenic Acid (vitamin B5), 3% of Manganese and Potassium, and 2% of Niacin and Magnesium?
  • The buzz you feel after drinking coffee is actually from ingesting tiny 0.0016-inch crystals of caffeine. Something that small can give you that much energy!
  • Coffee is actually a red berry before it is turned in to a bean.. looking similar to a red cherry growing on a tree!
